WELCOME CAULIFLOWER COMMUNITY - A LOCAL BRAND THAT CELEBRATES COMBAT SPORTS
Welcome to Cauliflower Community, a brand that celebrates the bond shared by those who have competed or currently compete in combat sports. As a wrestler and grappler, myself, I know firsthand the unique sense of camaraderie that comes with having cauliflower ears. We walk with confidence, knowing that we are part of a growing community of athletes who push ourselves to the limit in pursuit of excellence.
My name is Conrad R. Padilla, and I am the founder of Cauliflower Community. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, where I served in the army before opening my own barbershop in 2005. That same year, I joined Jackson’s MMA and began my journey in combat sports. Over the next 13 years, I had an amateur MMA record of 7-2 and a professional record of 6-3, earning a black belt under Greg Jackson in the process. In 2016, I decided to retire from fighting and pursue opportunities as a stuntman in the movie and TV industry in New Mexico.
It was during my time at ONE JIU JITSU in Rio Rancho in 2018 that I began my journey in jiu-jitsu. It was then that I had the idea to create a brand that would represent all styles of combat sports, from wrestling and jiu-jitsu to Sambo and more. I wanted to create a brand that the entire family could wear and show off their love for the sport.
With the help of my designer Justin Lovato, I was able to bring my vision to life with the Cauliflower Community brand. We have received a tremendous amount of support and interest in our products, and we are working hard to build up a strong backstock to ensure that everyone who wants to represent the Cauliflower Community can do so with high-quality merchandise that will last through even the toughest training sessions.
